A professional wedding coordinator works with you to select and decorate your private “capsule” on The Eye, which will hold you and your intended plus up to 19 guests. Where the heck is Greensboro, Georgia?  And why on earth would a celebrity like Carrie Underwood choose this place for her wedding?  Yes, we’re located in Atlanta – and even we weren’t sure where to find Greensboro, Georgia.  But we did know about Reynolds Plantation – lots of high profile people own homes in the area.  So we thought we’d all get educated together.  Who knows?  It might be the perfect spot for your wedding!

Located about an hour and a half southeast of us (on the way to Augusta for all you golf fans), Reynolds Plantation is a secluded, high-end community nestled around Lake Oconee.  Alongside beautiful homes and pristine water, you’ll find a Ritz-Carlton – right smack in the middle of a lovely, natural nowhere – total privacy!

We’ve said it before and we know you already know – we love lilac!  Lilac and silver, lilac and rich chocolate, lilac and white – but right now – we’re all about lilac and summer brides!

And here’s a little drink recipe for your signature lilac wedding cocktail - The Black Orchid:

Ingredients Per Cocktail: 1-1/4 parts orange-flavored vodka, 3/4 parts crème de violette, 3/4 parts lemon juice, 1/2 parts simple syrup, 1 dash peach bitters or orange
bitters, 1 edible orchid or violet flower for garnish

Preparation: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all ingredients. Shake vigorously until outside of shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into martini cocktail glass and garnish with flower.
