Tangerine Tango is popping up everywhere! As Pantone’s Color of 2012, this vivid hue is making its’ debut in the wedding world.  Since late spring and summer abounds with all-things wedding, this color is a sure bet for the bold, fashion forward bride to heat things up and make her special day pop with color.

Using tangerine flowers in your tablescapes and centerpieces will provide a striking contrast against crisp, white table linens.  Gerbera Daisy, Ranunculus, Safflower, or Bird of Paradise make great choices in achieving a unique bouquet. Adding hot pink and yellow flowers will perfect the palette of your summer wedding.

Punch up your tables by integrating Tangerine Tango with your favors.  Be it bright and cheery boxes or something just for the girls, colorful favors on your tables are a fabulous and inexpensive way to bring a little sizzle to any table setting.

While thumbing through this years bridal magazines, brides-to-be will sit up and take notice of the bridesmaid dresses featured in Tangerine Tango.  Just as with the floral options mentioned above, brides will have many options to consider using this brilliant color.  A synchronized look would call for tangerine dresses each with its own style of neckline that best suits the members of your bridal party.  For a bold, distinct look, try surrounding the tangerine tones with super bright colors.

If you can’t embrace the thought of orange on your wedding day, incorporate it into other avenues of your life. Welcome it into your home decor and fashion wear.  Don’t be a wallflower.  Everyone can do the Tangerine Tango!

Happy planning!

Step right up! As Kate Aspen’s very own Jen Warchol prepared to welcome baby Max, our talented graphic designers and team put on quite a show for her baby shower.

Our animal themed place card holders are perfect as little menu labels.

The smallest details make a big impression. Our animal themed favor boxes filled with candy were placed near the exit to thank the guests for coming!

Guests guessed Jen’s tummy size with ribbon lengths marked with their name and artfully displayed with clothespins at the entrance.  We also played a Baby Animal name game in which the winners won a box of Animal Crackers.

And BTW, Baby Max arrived on February 9th at 11:59 pm, weighing 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long.  Max and his family are all doing well.
