Since 1969,  the hallmark work of author Eric Carle has been the classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  The same babies who were inspired to read by Mr. Carle are now having babies of their own.  And oh how that caterpillar of childhood memories is sneaking  its way into the next-generation-to-be via caterpillar themed nurseries!  So the next natural step is The Caterpillar Baby Shower, right?

There are SO many cute ideas for a caterpillar-themed baby shower it’s almost hard to choose!  The perfect invitation can be found with a quick Google search.

We actually have a Kate Aspen Special Delivery coming in the next few months.  Brooke is expecting a beautiful baby girl in July and we’re “over the moon” about the impending arrival.  Yes, shower plans are already in the making – which reminded us.  We haven’t shown off our delightful baby shower favors recently.  So we made you a little baby shower montage.  Oh!  And there’s a video, too (look in the column to the right).

One of my college roommates is pregnant.  She’s not due until next June.  But the other roommates and I have already started planning for the showers – we’re so excited!

Here’s the funny part.  We’re strung out all over the country, so we’ve all been researching ideas and, well, seems like we came up with the same one!  I made a collage for you out of all the pictures.

Seriously!  A couple even found cakes to go with the clothes line theme.  I’m sure there’s an invitation out there somewhere to match and if not, well then we’ll make one!

I’ll keep you updated as we plan along.  Maybe you can use some of the ideas – we’re a rather creative bunch!
